The Project Engineer is responsible for fully supporting the Project Manager. The role is comprised of: Approximately 80% of time dedicated to all day-to-day administrative/back office aspects required to manage construction projects assigned to the PM; Approximately 20% of time dedicated to stand-in for PM, as needed. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry required.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the day to day management of construction projects while controlling time, cost, and quality of projects. Works closely with the superintendent on coordinating work performed by subcontractors and employees on jobsite and ensuring compliance with client standards and governmental requirements. BA degree in Construction Management preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience working as a PM for a General Contractor. Proficient with PlanGrid, Sage Masterbuilder or other construction software programs.
The Construction Superintendent coordinates all sites construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-sight activities. It is the Superintendents responsibility to protect and promote Bjork Construction’s interests in all matters. OSHA 10 or 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications required. Minimum 5 years of experience working a Superintendent for a general contractor.
The Foreman runs a crew of carpenters in the field and adheres to the company’s work standards, enforces safety protocol and provides leadership and direction to employees. Works closely with the superintendent keeping him/her appraised on a regular basis. Documents progress on the job and takes pictures daily. Should have experience using PlanGrid and iPad. Minimum 5 years of experience running crews. First Aid/CPR certified.
