Huff Gardens Apartments
Working in an occupied apartment community, Bjork self-performed the rough carpentry and exterior finish carpentry scopes with careful planning and coordination to minimize disruption while delivering high-quality results.
MKP 21
Bjork constructed a timber building. All members were dropped into the courtyard via crane and set. Timbers were interlocked with knife plates. Each knife plate was custom designed through Bjork shop drawings. This project also included 8 decks and 6 trellises throughout the tech campus.
Ignacio Sobrante Boardwalks
Bjork provides utility infrastructure improvements throughout the Bay Area, serving as the general contractor while self-performing all carpentry scopes to ensure quality, efficiency, and seamless project execution.
Moxy Hotel
As part of this modular hotel project, Bjork expertly installed and structurally secured each modular unit. With decades of experience in modular construction, we bring the same precision and coordination to schools, housing communities, and other prefabricated building projects.
Union Hall
Bjork partnered with the client from the earliest stages of the project, providing design and consulting services for the renovation of an existing building and the addition of a new facility. By leading the discovery process and coordinating with architects and trade partners, we developed a practical, cost-effective design that aligns with the client's goals and budget. Construction start is pending.
Irvington Senior Housing
Bjork self-performed the exterior site carpentry at the Irvington Senior Housing community, including custom-designed tables and shuttle trellis with architectural wood slats that provides a welcoming, shaded gathering space for residents.
Mariposa
Bjork self-performed the soffit and siding scopes for this large multifamily apartment community, delivering a durable, high-quality exterior that enhances both the building's performance and architectural appeal.
Margaret Hayward Playground
The Margaret Hayward Playground project included the ground-up construction of a new community center, park, and public restrooms. Featuring a full basement and commercial-grade kitchen, the facility was built to serve the community for years to come. Bjork self-performed all carpentry scopes while coordinating closely with trade partners to successfully deliver the project.
The Exchange
As the carpentry subcontractor on this project, Bjork completed the exterior benches, wood entrance fencing, and architectural wood cladding, delivering high-quality finishes that enhance both the functionality and character of the space.
Lighthouse & Lodestar
As the general contractor, Bjork led the preconstruction, permitting, and coordination efforts for this modular classroom project across two school campuses. The project included new modular classroom buildings, renovations within existing facilities, MEP and seismic upgrades, and site improvements including enhanced playfields and new perimeter fencing to improve safety and functionality..
